Stock By Products

Overview

Use the Stock By Products list to review stock information by warehouse and product. Warehouse managers and other users who work with stock can use this list when checking available and committed quantities for products. Use this view when product-level stock information is required rather than shipment-level stock information.

Before you start

Ensure that the Warehouse work area is available in the application navigation.

Steps

  1. Select Warehouse from the main navigation.

  2. Select Stock (By Product).

  3. Review the product stock rows in the list. Use the displayed warehouse and product information together with the stock quantity columns, including Stock Available and Stock Committed, to assess the current stock position for each listed product.

Note: Stock (By Product) presents stock by product. To review stock by shipment instead, select Stock (By Shipment).

Tips & cautions

Tip: Review the warehouse shown for each product before using the stock quantities, because the list presents stock information by warehouse and product.

Warning: Do not use Stock (By Shipment) when the required review is by product; it is a separate stock view.

Troubleshooting

  • The shipment-based stock list is displayed → Stock (By Shipment) was selected → Select Stock (By Product) to return to the product-based list.
  • You cannot open the stock list → The Warehouse work area is not available in the navigation → Access the Warehouse work area before selecting Stock (By Product).
