Custom fields — Configurations › Custom Fields

Overview

Custom Fields enable administrators to tailor information captured for supported areas of the application. Use the Custom Fields configuration page when your organization requires additional business-specific data beyond the standard information available in a module. Configure the required selections and save the configuration before users rely on the custom field setup.

Before you start

You must be signed in to access the Custom Fields page. The configuration form contains three mandatory fields; complete all required fields before saving.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Configurations > Custom Fields.

  2. In please select, choose the applicable configuration option.

  3. Complete the three mandatory fields on the form.

  4. Select Save to validate and save the custom field configuration.

  5. If you have finished configuring custom fields, select Save and Close.

Tips & cautions

Note: The form validates required information when you select Save. It will not save if a mandatory field is missing.

Warning: If you attempt to leave the page with unsaved changes, the application displays a warning. Save the configuration before leaving the page when you want to retain your changes.

Troubleshooting
