Customize Mandatory Fields — Configurations › Dynamic Validation

Overview

Dynamic Validation enables administrators to configure mandatory-field requirements for the company. Use Customize Mandatory Fields to maintain the company’s mandatory field configuration when business processes require selected information before related records can be completed. This configuration is intended for authorized, signed-in users who manage application settings.

Before you start

  • Sign in to the application.
  • Ensure that you have access to Configurations and Dynamic Validation.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Configurations > Dynamic Validation.

  2. On the Customize Mandatory Fields page, select Select to choose the mandatory-field configuration that you need to maintain.

  3. Update the available mandatory-field configuration as required, and then select Save.

  4. Verify that the application displays the confirmation message: “Your Company Mandatory Fields has been Saved Successfully.”

  5. To save the configuration and exit the page, select Save and Close instead of Save.

Warning: If you leave the page after making changes without saving, the application displays a warning about unsaved changes.

Tip: Select Save before leaving the page to retain changes while remaining on Customize Mandatory Fields for further configuration.

Troubleshooting
