ISO settings — Configurations › ISOSettings › Rating Types

Overview

Rating Types define the rating scales available in ISO settings. Administrators configure these scales when the business needs standard rating values, such as performance bands or quality assessments, for use with ISO-related questions. Use this page to review existing Rating Types and begin creating a new Rating Type.

Before you start

Sign in to the application. You must be able to access Configurations > ISOSettings > Rating types.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Configurations > ISOSettings > Rating types.

  2. Review the existing Rating Types. Each record displays a Type name and its associated rating values.

  3. To start configuring an additional Rating Type, select New.

  4. Keep Rating Types separate from ISO questions. Select Questions only when you need to configure the questions that use the available rating scales.

Note: Rating Types can contain ordered descriptive values, such as a scale ranging from a positive rating to a negative rating.

Warning: The configuration form enforces required values and validates one field against a specific format. Complete all required entries and correct validation messages before finalizing the configuration.

Troubleshooting

  • You cannot open Rating Types → Your account is not signed in or does not have access to the configuration path → Sign in and open Configurations > ISOSettings > Rating types.
  • A required-field validation message appears → A required configuration value has not been completed → Enter the required value before continuing.
  • A format validation message appears → A configured value does not meet the accepted format → Update the value to meet the validation requirement.

Result

You have opened the Rating Types configuration area and started the creation of a new Rating Type.
