Flags — Configurations › Company › Flags

Overview

Use the Flags configuration page to maintain the flag definitions available to the company. Administrators configure flags by defining a Name and Color for each flag. Use this page when a new flag definition is required or when existing flag definitions must be reviewed.

Before you start

You must be signed in to access the Flags configuration page.

Note: Flag configuration validates required entries. Complete the required Name and Color values when creating a flag definition.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Configurations > Company > Flags.

  2. Review existing flag definitions in the list. Use the Name and Color columns to identify each configured flag.

  3. To begin configuring a new flag definition, select New.

  4. Enter the required Name and Color values in the new flag entry.

  5. Ensure that the Name complies with the character-format validation. Underscore (_), hyphen (-), and period (.) are accepted characters.

Warning: Do not leave required values blank. The flag entry form validates required fields before the definition can be completed.

Tips & cautions

Tip: Use a clear, consistent Name so that administrators can distinguish flag definitions in the Flags list.

Warning: If the Name does not meet the permitted character format, revise the value to use accepted characters.

Troubleshooting

  • A required-field validation message is displayed → A mandatory value has not been entered → Complete the required Name and Color values.

  • A character-format validation message is displayed for the flag name → The entered Name contains unsupported characters → Update the Name to use the permitted character format, including _, -, or . where needed.

  • The Flags page cannot be accessed → The user is not signed in → Sign in, then navigate to Configurations > Company > Flags.

Result

The Flags configuration page is available for reviewing existing flag definitions and starting a new flag definition.
