Overview
Awaiting Storage is a Warehouse list used to review received goods that require storage follow-up. Warehouse and inventory users use this list to identify items by sales job number, product description, area, position, purchase order, received quantity, and accumulated quantity. Use it when reviewing goods received against purchase orders and when preparing warehouse storage activities.
Workflow

Open the Warehouse workspace by selecting Warehouse, then open the Awaiting Storage list.
Review the available records using the list columns, including Sales job no., Product Description, Area, Position, P.O.s, Received Qty, and Acc.
Tip: Use the sales job number and purchase order reference together when several receipts contain similar products.

Decide whether you can locate the required receipt in the current list.
- To find a specific value, enter a keyword in Search.
- To refine the displayed records, select Apply filter.
- To adjust the information displayed in the list, select Columns Chooser.
Review the filtered results and compare the received quantity with the accumulated quantity shown for the item.
Note: Keep product description, purchase order, and quantity columns visible when checking received goods for a job.

Decide whether the current list layout is suitable for the review.
- To return to the default arrangement, select Standard Layout.
- To create a reusable view, select Add Layout, enter a Layout name, and select Save.
- To save changes to the selected layout, select Update Current.
- To remove a layout that is no longer required, select Delete Current or Delete, as appropriate.
- To discard an unfinished layout change, select Cancel.
Use a saved layout when the same set of columns is required for recurring receiving and storage reviews.

Decide how to share or continue the review.
- To produce a file from the displayed list, select Export.
- To access ticket-related work from this list, select Tickets.
Before exporting, apply the required search, filter, and column selection so that the export contains only the records needed for the review.
Warning: An export reflects the records currently displayed after your search and filter choices.
Examples
A warehouse user needs to review a receipt for sales job J23.1057 before arranging storage.

Select Warehouse and open the Awaiting Storage list.

Enter
J23.1057in Search to limit the list to receipts for that sales job. -
Confirm that the list shows the product description, purchase order reference, received quantity, and accumulated quantity. If one of these columns is not displayed, select Columns Chooser and adjust the list view.

Select Add Layout, enter
Storage Reviewin Layout name, and select Save. This preserves the selected columns for future receipt reviews. -
Select Export to create a file containing the displayed records for the job review.
Tips
Tip: Use Standard Layout when a saved layout hides information needed for a receiving review.
Note: Use Update Current only when you want to change the saved layout currently in use.
Warning: Select Delete Current only when the selected saved layout is no longer needed.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |

| The required receipt is not visible. | The list contains too many records or the current filter is too restrictive. | Use Search to find the sales job number, product description, or purchase order reference, then review Apply filter. |
| Important quantity or purchase order information is missing from the list. | The current layout does not display the required columns. | Select Columns Chooser, add the required columns, and select Update Current if the change should be retained. |
| Changes to a layout should not be kept. | A layout update is still in progress. | Select Cancel to discard the unfinished change. |
