Overview

Use the Warehouse workspace to review inventory from the Inventory navigation area. Warehouse personnel can use the available stock views to review stock by shipment or by product when checking received quantities, purchase orders, storage areas, and positions.

Before you start

Ensure that you have access to Inventory and the Warehouse workspace.

Steps

From the Inventory navigation area, select Warehouse.
Select Stock (By Shipment) to review stock records by shipment. Use the visible columns, including Sales job no., Product Description, Area, Position, P.O.s, and Received Qty, to identify the stock record you need.
Select Stock (By Product) to review stock records by product. Use this view when you need to locate inventory by product rather than by shipment.

Tips & cautions

Tip: Use Stock (By Shipment) when you need to review inventory in relation to a shipment, received quantity, or purchase order.

Tip: Use Stock (By Product) when you need to review inventory for a specific product.

Note: Review the Area and Position values to identify the warehouse location shown for a stock record.

Troubleshooting

The required inventory view is not displayed → The current view may not match how you need to review stock → Select Stock (By Shipment) or Stock (By Product) as appropriate.
A stock record is difficult to identify → The available record details may not be sufficient in the current view → Review the Product Description, Sales job no., P.O.s, Area, Position, and Received Qty columns.
You cannot open the Warehouse workspace → Access to the Inventory navigation area may be unavailable → Return to Inventory and select Warehouse when it is available.

Result

You have opened the Warehouse workspace and selected an inventory view for reviewing stock by shipment or by product.
