The Upcoming stock heading, queue choices, toolbar controls, and list headers

Before you start

Your access, saved list layout, and available rows determine what appears on Upcoming stock and which controls are available for each row.

Prerequisites

  • Have access to the Inventory area.
  • Open Inventory > Upcoming stock.
  • Use a row whose product is eligible for stocking when you need the Stock product action.
  • Have the storage area and position ready before you save stocking details.

The list requires a saved layout selection before its grid appears. If the subscription does not include this surface, the page follows its subscription branch instead of showing the list. The stocking action also requires a row that meets the product's stocking condition.

Find the Upcoming stock list

Reach the Inventory destination, then choose the queue that contains the products you need to review.

Prerequisites

  • Have access to the Inventory area.

Steps

  1. Open the Inventory area.

  2. Select Upcoming stock.

  3. Select the queue that matches the work you need to review.

    If you need to…Select
    Review products awaiting inspectionAwaiting Inspection
    Review products awaiting storageAwaiting Storage

Result: The selected Upcoming stock queue is open.

Read the Upcoming stock list

The Upcoming stock list shows warehouse rows with receipt, quantity, unit, stage, and inspection references. The visible list uses these headers:

HeaderWhat to use it for
Sales job no.Identify the related sales job.
ProductIdentify the product.
DescriptionRead the product description.
AreaRead the displayed area.
PositionRead the displayed position.
P.O.sRead the purchase-order reference.
Received QtyRead the received quantity.
Accepted qtyRead the accepted quantity.
Rejected qtyRead the rejected quantity.
UnitRead the quantity unit.
StageRead the current displayed stage.
GRNRead the goods-receipt reference.
Inspection No.Read the inspection reference.

The list also presents the toolbar controls Refresh, Table Layout, and Settings. When your saved layout includes Table Layout choices, use the headers and rows currently visible in your list because the saved layout changes which columns are shown.

Choose the queue to review

Compare the inspection and storage queues by selecting each queue and reviewing its list.

Prerequisites

  • Have the Upcoming stock list open.

Steps

  1. Select the queue that matches the work you need to review.

Handle the conditional Stock product action

Select Stock product to assign an eligible product to storage. The control appears only for eligible rows.

The row must have a receiving shipment, an inspection, and a release to Inventory, and it must have no rejected quantity before Stock product is rendered.

Prerequisites

  • Have an eligible row in the Upcoming stock list.
  • Have the storage area and position to enter.

The stocking details use Areas, Position, Stocked By, and Stocked On. The storage destination is selected through Areas and Position. Stock Type uses these choices: Available for sale, Received for PM, Rejected, Maintenance, and Reserved for PM. The available Areas, Stocked By, and In Stock entries depend on the current list data.

Selecting Stock product opens the Product assignment certificate popup. The popup requires Position. The popup uses OK to submit the stocking entry. When the entry saves, Upcoming stock refreshes and the popup closes.

Steps

  1. In an eligible row, select Stock product.

  2. Enter or select the storage area in Areas.

  3. Enter the storage position in Position.

    Before submission, choose one outcome:

    If you want to…SelectOutcome

Cancel without savingDon't SaveThe popup closes without saving.
  4. Select the control that matches your chosen outcome.

Result: You have either corrected the displayed stocking message or identified the warehouse flow that owns the message.

What comes next

After reviewing Awaiting Inspection, continue with Incoming inspection notes. After reviewing Awaiting Storage, continue with QC when the next task concerns quality-control release. For receipt work, use Goods receipt notes. For another stock view, use Stock by shipment.

The detail surface can also lead to Comments, Receiving sheet, Inspection sheet, Transfer history, and Last Modifications when warehouse details have an ID.
