Features overview

The Features page is where you review the limits assigned to each plan and choose which features each plan includes. The page presents plan limits above a feature grid, so you can review the limits and assignments together before saving a change.

Before you start

The page shows the plans and feature rows available to your account. The plan columns appear when the plan data is available, and the feature area appears when at least one feature is available.

Prerequisites

  • Know which plan you need to review or change.
  • Have the limits and feature assignments you want to compare with the values on screen.
  • Work from the plan columns and feature rows currently shown on the page.

The page's starting values come from the plans loaded for the page. Treat the values shown in the fields as the values to review before making a change; do not assume that a value from another plan applies to the current plan.

Open Features

Open the page and identify its page-level controls.

Prerequisites

  • You know the configuration area is available to you.

Steps

  1. Open /configuration/features.
  2. Confirm that the page shows Companies and Save above the plan table.

Result: The Features page is open at /configuration/features, with Companies and Save available at the top of the page.

Read the Features screen

The upper table contains the limits for each plan. The lower feature grid contains the feature rows and an assignment cell for each plan; select an assignment cell to change whether that plan includes a feature.

In the current screen, the plan columns are Plan #0, Plan #1, and Plan #2. The active feature grid uses Feature, Id, and Price, followed by those three plan columns. The price cells display EUR. The feature rows currently include the following names:

The plan fields currently show no values. Use the values displayed in the fields when reviewing or changing a plan. Work with the active feature grid beneath the plan table.

Compare the plan fields and the Feature, Id, Price, and plan headers.

Change plan limits and feature assignments

Change plan limits and feature assignments from the plan fields and feature grid, then save the changes.

Prerequisites

  • You are on the Features page.
  • You know the intended values for the plan limits and the feature assignments.

Steps

  1. In the required plan column, select the value in the field you need to change.
  2. Enter the new plan value.
  3. In the feature grid, select the assignment cell for the feature and plan you want to change.
  4. Review the changed value and assignment.
  5. Select Save.

The Save control is enabled when the page detects unsaved changes. Saving sends the plan details for processing and reloads the plan details after a successful response.

Result: The page returns to the plan and feature tables after the save request. The resulting saved values and any save message depend on the response to that request.

Handle parent and child features

Use the message text on screen to correct the value or retry the save.
