Base of inspection
Base of inspection is the reference list where you maintain the named bases used for warehouse inspection work. It is one of the lists under the warehouse configuration area, alongside inspection checklists, inspection documents, transfer reasons, and service types.

Before you start
You need access to the configuration area and a name for each base you add. The Name field is required for this list. The controls available to you depend on your access and on the list's configuration.
Prerequisites
- Sign in and select Base Of Inspection in the warehouse configuration area.
- Have the name you want to maintain ready before opening the entry form.
- Check the controls shown on your screen before choosing a maintenance action.
Find the reference list
Use the page title and visible sibling labels to distinguish this list from the other warehouse configuration lists.
Prerequisites
- Be signed in to PAMS.
Steps
- Select Base Of Inspection in the warehouse configuration area.
- Confirm that the page heading reads Base of inspection.
- Confirm that the surrounding warehouse configuration area includes Base Of Inspection, Inspection Checklist, Inspection Document, Transfer Reasons, Service Types, and Stock Withdrawal And Valuation.
Result: The Base of inspection reference list is open.
Understand the list and entry form
The list shows the inspection-base names available in your configuration and draws one Name column.
The entry form uses Name as its visible text field.

Only Name is a visible entry field on this list. The shared form shows a configured text field when the entry form is open and the selected column is marked visible in the form. Its required marker follows the configuration for that column.
Open an entry and cancel deletion
Open a new or existing entry to work with its Name, or open the delete menu and cancel when you decide not to remove a row.
Prerequisites
- Know the name to enter.
- Confirm that New, Edit, or Delete is available for the action you need.
Steps

Open the entry you need:
If you need to… Select Start a new entry New Open an existing entry Edit on the selected row The new-entry dialog is titled New Base of inspection.

Enter the base name in Name when adding or changing an entry.

Select Delete on the selected row when you need to open its delete menu.

Are you sure you want to delete this item?. -
Select Cancel to close the delete menu without removing the row.
Result: The Name field is open for a new or existing entry, or the delete menu closes without removing the row when you select Cancel.
Handle access and configuration variations
The list can show different maintenance controls and columns according to your access and the configuration assigned to the list. Work from the controls and column headers currently visible on your screen.

- Have the Base of inspection list open.
Steps

Choose the action that matches the control available to you:
What you see What to do New Select New to start an entry. Edit Select Edit on the row you need to change. Delete Select Delete on the row you need to remove. Export Use the export action when it is available in the settings controls. -
Use the headers currently shown in the list when the configured column set differs from another user's list.
Result: You use only the maintenance action and list columns available in your configuration.
When maintenance does not work
Use the message on screen to choose the next action.
