Who uses Sherkety ERP

Sherkety ERP brings several application areas into one application menu. An application area groups menus for one kind of work. The covered entries are Accounting and Inventory.

Before you start

You need access to the relevant application area before its menus appear for your work.

Prerequisites

AreaAccess that controls its availability
InvoicingAccounting read-only or invoicing access
InventoryInventory user or manager access
AccountingAccounting read-only or invoicing access
Configuration under InventoryInventory manager access
Reporting under InventoryInventory manager access

After you confirm your access, find the application area that matches your task.

Find the right application area

The application menu is where you choose the application area that matches your immediate task.

Prerequisites

  • You are on the application-menu screen.

Steps

  1. Choose the row in the table that matches your task.

    If your task is about…Select
    Customers, vendors, journals, accounting management, or accounting reportsAccounting
    Operations, products, inventory configuration, or inventory reportsInventory
  2. Select Accounting or Inventory.

Result: You have selected the application area that matches your work.

Understand what the application menu shows

The application-menu screen is the starting surface for the covered application areas; it is not a record form or a work list.

Note: The application menu includes areas beyond Accounting and Inventory.

Fields and grid columnsNo fields or grid columns are shown on this screen.

Dialogs and panelsNo dialog content is shown, and no panel or tab is expanded.

The application menu also lists Contacts, Sales, Purchase, Manufacturing, and Employees. Those entries sit alongside the Accounting and Inventory areas.
