What navigation basics covers

A destination is a product area you open from a menu entry. The Accounting Dashboard is the Accounting entry point, and Inventory Overview is the Inventory entry point.

Before you start

Prerequisites

Sign in before opening a destination. Your available menu entries depend on your permissions.

Find and open a destination

Use Dashboard for the Accounting entry point or Inventory Overview for the Inventory entry point.

Steps

  1. Select the product menu.

  2. Select the destination that matches your work:

    If you need to…Select
    Open the Accounting entry pointAccounting, then Dashboard
    Open the Inventory entry pointInventory, then Inventory Overview
  3. Confirm that the selected destination page appears.

After the Dashboard page appears, continue with Accounting Dashboard. After the Inventory page appears, continue with Inventory Overview.

Result: The selected Accounting or Inventory destination is on screen.

Recognize the destination screen

Use the menu label to recognize the destination you opened. Inventory Dashboard is a separate Inventory menu entry.
