Selecting an organization plan determines the level of documentation service available to your organization. Use this process when you need to align Atloria’s documentation capabilities with your team’s documentation volume, access needs, and commercial requirements.
Overview
Organization plans help you choose the level of service that best supports your documentation work. Your plan can affect the documentation features, service capacity, commercial options, and support commitments available to the organization.
You typically select or review a plan when setting up an organization, preparing to expand documentation activity, or reviewing commercial readiness. Atloria includes a Billing area for plan and billing-related administration.
Before making a selection, consider how your organization creates and manages documentation. For example, you may need a plan that supports a larger number of projects, more generated documentation, exports, or enterprise-level service requirements.

Tips and Best Practices
-
Choose a plan based on expected usage, not only current usage. Documentation needs often grow as you add repositories, projects, and contributors.
-
Consider the complete documentation workflow. If your team needs to select repositories, generate documentation, review it, and export it, verify that the selected plan supports the workflow you intend to use.
-
Review service expectations for enterprise use. If your organization requires formal availability or support commitments, review the 📊 Service Level Agreement (SLA) information before finalizing the plan.
-
Include commercial stakeholders when necessary. Plan selection can involve billing, credits, plans, and enterprise requirements, so obtain internal approval before confirming a change.
-
Keep documentation requirements in mind when comparing plans. If your organization uses multiple documentation approaches, review available Documentation Templates and documentation styles as part of your evaluation.
-
Reassess your plan when your organization adds new projects. A plan that supports one team may not remain appropriate after you expand documentation generation or exporting activity.

Troubleshooting
You cannot see the Billing option
You may not have the required organization permissions. Ask an organization administrator to verify that you have access to Billing.
You are unsure which plan to choose
Review your expected documentation volume, number of projects, export needs, and enterprise service requirements. If your organization has purchasing requirements, involve the appropriate billing or procurement contact before making a selection.
The selected plan does not appear to support a needed documentation activity
Confirm the activity your team needs, such as Generate Documentation →, View Your Documentation →, or Export Documentation. Then review the plan details again and select a plan that includes the required service level.
