An Atloria organization provides the shared workspace for your teams, projects, and documentation. Create or select the correct organization before creating projects so that shared work is grouped under the right business area.
Overview
Organizations are the top-level workspace for collaborative work in Atloria. They help you separate teams, projects, and documentation that belong to different departments, customers, or business units.
After your organization is available, you can use the Projects area to create and manage the projects that belong to it. The project hub includes options such as Create project, Quick Create, and search tools for finding work across projects.
The currently captured interface confirms the project-management controls but does not include a verified organization-creation screen, organization field list, or organization-specific button label. Because organization setup may be limited to designated administrators or provisioned during onboarding, use the steps below to confirm your workspace and continue safely into project setup.

Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure that you have:
- An active Atloria user account.
- Access to the Atloria workspace where you need to create or manage projects.
- Administrator or organization-management permission, if your company restricts organization setup.
- The approved organization name for your team, department, customer, or business unit.
- A clear understanding of which projects and documentation should belong to the organization.
- A plan for who will manage organization-level access and project ownership.

Tips and Best Practices
-
Use a stable, recognizable organization name. Choose a name that users can identify easily in workspace selection lists and in shared documentation.
-
Create separate organizations only when teams need clear operational separation. For example, separate customer environments, independently managed business units, or distinct security boundaries may require different organizations. Do not create a new organization simply because you are starting a new project.
-
Check the project hub before creating new work. The Search projects... field helps you find projects in the current list, while Search across all projects... is useful when you need a broader search.
-
Create the organization before creating shared content. This helps ensure that projects, agents, and documentation are established in the correct workspace from the start.
-
Use Create project for a standard project setup. Use Quick Create only when you understand the defaults that your workspace applies.
-
Plan ownership early. Make sure that at least one responsible administrator can manage the organization and its projects if the original creator is unavailable.
-
Keep names consistent. If your company uses naming standards for departments, clients, regions, or environments, apply those standards to organization and project names.

Troubleshooting
You do not see an option to create an organization
Your account may not have organization-management permission, or your organization may be provisioned during onboarding. Contact your Atloria administrator and ask them to confirm whether organization creation is available for your role.
You are in the Projects area but cannot find the organization you need
Return to your workspace or organization selector and verify that the correct organization is active. The Projects hub and 1. Hub: All Projects show projects for the workspace you can access, not necessarily every organization in your company.
You are unsure whether to create a new organization or a new project
Create a project when the work belongs to an existing team or shared workspace. Create a separate organization only when the work requires a separate top-level workspace, ownership model, or access boundary. Use Search projects... before creating a project to avoid duplicates.
