This page explains how to organize and locate documentation by category in Atloria. A clear category structure helps administrators keep user and technical documentation easy to find as the document library grows.
Overview
Atloria presents documentation through the Documents area and separates documentation into user-facing and technical content. You can use the available documentation views to review the existing organization, create documents in the appropriate area, and confirm that documents can be found through category-aware search.
Use category organization when your organization needs to distinguish different kinds of content, such as user guides, user manuals, and technical documentation. This makes it easier for readers to locate the right material without reviewing every document in the library.
The available interface evidence shows that Atloria supports searching across documents, categories, and projects through the Search documents, categories, projects... field. It also shows separate entry points for User Docs, Technical Docs, 📋 User Manuals, and Technical. Use these areas to maintain a consistent documentation structure.

Tips and Best Practices
-
Use consistent category names. For example, choose either “User Guides” or “User Documentation” as your standard term rather than using both for the same type of content.
-
Separate user-facing and technical content. Place task-oriented instructions for end users under User Docs or 📋 User Manuals, and keep implementation-oriented material in Technical Docs or Technical.
-
Search before creating new material. The Search documents, categories, projects... field searches across multiple organizational levels, so it can help you avoid creating duplicate or overlapping categories.
-
Include the category term in document titles when appropriate. This improves discoverability when users search the document library.
-
Review project context before organizing technical content. If Atloria displays Select a project to view documents, select the relevant project before reviewing or updating project-specific documentation.
-
Keep category structures simple. A small set of clear, recognizable categories is easier for readers to navigate than many similarly named categories.
-
Use Delete Documents carefully. Before deleting documentation, confirm that the document is obsolete and is not the only document using a category name or organizational term.

Troubleshooting
You cannot find a category or document
Use the Search documents, categories, projects... field and try a shorter keyword. For example, search for “user” instead of “User Guides.” Also check both User Docs and Technical Docs, because the document may be organized for a different audience.
You see “Select a project to view documents”
Select the appropriate project before attempting to review technical documentation. Project-specific documents may not appear until a project is selected.
You cannot create or remove documentation
If Create New Document, Create Document, or Delete Documents is unavailable, your account may not have the required access. Contact your Atloria administrator to request document-management permissions.
