Recorded walkthroughs
A recorded walkthrough is a reusable set of product instructions that you can turn into a draft manual page. It follows operational work, alongside the other enterprise surfaces that preserve what happened during documentation work.

Prerequisites
- Have access to the application.
Steps
- Open Operations from the application navigation.
- Open Captured Flows from the enterprise navigation group.
Result: The destination opens and is ready to read as a list or empty state.
Understand the flow list
The flow list organizes each recorded walkthrough as a flow row, with its identity and starting point visible before you choose a follow-up action.
| Information | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Flow name | Identifies the recorded walkthrough. |
| Step count | Shows how many steps the walkthrough contains. |
| Starting URL | Shows the URL where the walkthrough begins. |
| Created date | Belongs to the flow data but is not shown in the list. |
The destination can show the following areas and states:
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| Get recorder | Opens the recorder instructions. |
| Refresh | Reloads the flow list. |
| Empty state | The selected project has no flows in the list. |
| A flow row | A recorded flow is available for review and follow-up actions. |
| Recorder instructions | The script tag, the recorder bookmarklet, and the token note are open. |
| No recorder instructions | The recorder panel is closed. |
When the recorder instructions are open, Copy copies the script tag, and Atloria Recorder
is the draggable recorder bookmarklet. The instructions also show the note to
replace YOUR_MEMBER_TOKEN with a member JWT. The recorder redacts passwords, tokens,
emails, and card numbers before anything is sent.
When no flows are recorded, the destination displays No recorded flows yet. and the guidance
Click “Get recorder”, add it to your product, and record a walkthrough. With the recorder
instructions closed, the flow rows and their row actions are not shown. The destination is ready
without a visible loading spinner.
Choose a follow-up action when a flow row is available.
Choose the next step
The actions attached to a flow row depend on whether a recorded flow is available. The destination explains where to start; detailed work belongs on the review page for the chosen action.
| If you need to… | Choose |
|---|---|
| Review an existing walkthrough | Open the review page |
| Check the flow's available states and actions | Read the flow reference |
| Return to the operational context | Operations overview |
When a flow row is available, the row can offer Edit steps, Walkthrough, Generate draft page, and Delete. Edit steps opens the step editor. Walkthrough opens the guided-tour area. Generate draft page creates a draft document. Delete asks for confirmation before removing the recorded flow.
The actions can produce these messages:
| Situation | Message |
|---|---|
| Draft creation succeeds | Draft page "{title}" created. Find it in your documents (state: DRAFT). |
| Draft creation fails | Could not create draft: {error} |
| Deletion confirmation opens | Delete this recorded flow? |
When loading stops
The message identifies the surface and the state that needs attention.
| Message | Where it appears | What to do |
|---|---|---|
Operations failed to load. {error} | Operations | The Operations overview returned an error. |
Loading operations… | Operations | The Operations overview is still loading. |
Could not create draft: {error} | Flow list | Draft creation returned an error. |
Delete this recorded flow? | Flow list | A deletion confirmation is open. |
These messages distinguish an Operations loading state from a flow action state.
