This page explains how to use the Back button and related return links to go back to the document, review, or project view you were working from. Returning to the correct view helps you continue your work without reopening the project from the Projects list.
Overview
Atloria provides return controls in document-authoring and project-review areas so you can move back to the relevant parent view. Depending on where you are, the control returns you to a project-level screen, such as Projects, or to the review screen that you opened before viewing a change or document detail.
For example, when you are reviewing a specific change, you may use Back to Review to return to the review summary. When you have finished working in a project and need to choose another project, use โ Back to Projects to return to the Projects list.
The available return option depends on the screen you opened. Use the return control shown in the current view rather than relying on a general browser back action when you want to return to the related Atloria project or document workspace.

Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure that you have:
- Signed in to Atloria.
- Opened a project from the Projects area.
- Navigated to a document, review, change, version, comparison, screenshot, analytics, or technical documentation view.
- Saved any changes required by the screen before leaving it.
- Identified the return control displayed on the current screen, such as โ Back to Projects or Back to Review.
Step-by-Step Instructions
-
Open the document, review, or project detail view that you want to leave.
-
Look near the top of the current screen for a return action.
-
Click โ Back to Projects when you want to return to the Projects list.
-
Click Back to Review when you are viewing a change or diff-related detail and want to return to its review screen.
-
Click Open Project Dashboard when it is available and you want to return to the main dashboard for the current project.
-
Click Projects if the current screen provides that navigation option and you need to choose a different project.
-
Select the document-authoring area you need after returning to the project, such as ๐ User Manuals, ๐ Overview, or User Docs.
-
Click View Draft when you need to reopen a draft document after returning to its related project or documentation area.
-
Click View Your Documentation โ or ๐ View Published Docs when you need to move from the project workspace to the documentation view that was generated or published.
-
Click Back to Review again if you opened a full diff by selecting ๐ View Full Diff or Open Diff Viewer and need to resume the review workflow.
Tips and Best Practices
-
Use the return action shown within Atloria whenever possible. A contextual option such as Back to Review is intended to take you back to the related review flow, rather than to an unrelated screen you visited earlier.
-
Use โ Back to Projects when you are finished with the current project. This returns you to the project selection area, where you can open another project.
-
Return to the project dashboard before switching to another project when you need access to project-level areas such as ๐ Overview, ๐ User Manuals, analytics, versions, changes, or technical documentation.
-
If you are reviewing a change, return to the review screen before opening another diff. This helps you keep the current change context and avoid losing track of which review item you were evaluating.
-
Save or complete any required edits before using a return control. Returning to a project or review view may remove the current detail view from your screen.
-
Choose the navigation option that matches your goal:
- Select Back to Review to continue reviewing the same item.
- Select Open Project Dashboard to work elsewhere in the same project.
- Select โ Back to Projects to leave the current project and select another one.
- Select View Draft to return to a document draft.

Troubleshooting
You cannot find a return control
Look at the top area of the screen for a labeled action. The available label depends on the view you opened. For example, project-level views may show โ Back to Projects, while review-related detail views may show Back to Review.
You returned to the project but cannot find the document you were viewing
Open ๐ User Manuals or User Docs, then select View Draft if you need to continue working with a draft. If you were viewing published output, select ๐ View Published Docs instead.
You opened a full diff and need to resume the review
Click Back to Review. If you opened the diff using ๐ View Full Diff or Open Diff Viewer, this returns you to the review context for that item.
