# Configure Warehouses

## Overview

Warehouse settings provide the configuration entry point for maintaining warehouses used by the organization. Administrators use this area to review configured warehouse records and begin creating additional warehouse configurations when a new physical location is required. Use this page when setting up warehouse locations for branches or when reviewing the existing warehouse list.

## Before you start

- Sign in to the application before accessing Warehouse settings.
- Ensure that you can access **Configurations, Warehouse Settings**, and **Warehouses**.

## Steps

1. In the application navigation, open **Configurations**, then open **Warehouse Settings**.

2. Select **Warehouses** to open the warehouse configuration list.

3. Review the existing warehouse records using the available columns:
   - **Name** identifies the warehouse.
   - **Type** identifies the warehouse type.
   - **Description** provides the warehouse description.
   - **Branches** identifies the associated branch.

4. Select **New** to begin a new warehouse configuration.

> **Note:** Use the warehouse list to review existing physical-location warehouse records before beginning a new configuration.

> **Tip:** Use clear, distinguishable values in **Name** and **Description** so administrators can identify each warehouse configuration in the list.

## Troubleshooting

- You cannot access Warehouse settings → You are not signed in → Sign in to the application, then navigate to **Configurations > Warehouse Settings > Warehouses**.
- You cannot find the warehouse configuration list → The **Warehouses** area has not been selected → Select **Warehouses** from Warehouse Settings.

## Result

The warehouse configuration list is open, and you can select **New** to begin a warehouse configuration.
