## Overview

Use a Goods Return Note to record goods returned to the warehouse. Warehouse personnel use this page when returned quantities must be recorded against issued products. Review the product, issued quantity, returned quantity, and unit before saving the return note.

## Before you start

- Open the **Warehouse** area and ensure that you can access **Goods Return Note**.
- Have the relevant warehouse, goods issue note, and returned product information available.
- The required fields are **Warehouse, Goods Issue Note, Unit**, and **This Field Is Required**.

## Steps

1. Select **Warehouse**, and then select **Goods Return Note** to open the Goods Return Note page.

2. Review the return detail lines. For each product line, verify the values shown in **Product, Issued Qty, Returned Qty**, and **Unit**.

3. Complete all required information, including **Warehouse, Goods Issue Note, Unit**, and **This Field Is Required**.

4. Confirm that the returned quantity recorded in **Returned Qty** is correct for each product line.

5. Select **Save** to validate and save the Goods Return Note.

## Tips & cautions

> **Warning:** Select **Save** only after completing the required fields. The form validates required information and does not save when required information is missing.

> **Note:** If you leave the page after making changes without saving, the application displays a warning.

## Troubleshooting

| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| The Goods Return Note does not save. | One or more required fields are missing. | Complete **Warehouse, Goods Issue Note, Unit**, and **This Field Is Required**, then select **Save** again. |
| A warning appears when leaving the page. | The Goods Return Note contains unsaved changes. | Return to the page and select **Save**, or leave the page only if you do not need to retain the changes. |
| The returned quantity requires review. | The value in **Returned Qty** may not reflect the goods returned. | Review the relevant **Product, Issued Qty, Returned Qty**, and **Unit** values before saving. |

## Result

The Goods Return Note is validated and saved with the recorded product return details.
