# Configure Warehouse Product Types

## Overview

Warehouse Product Types are configuration records used to classify products in the warehouse area. Use this page to review the existing product type records and begin adding a new type when an additional warehouse classification is required. This configuration is maintained by an administrator before warehouse users work with the associated products.

## Before you start

You must be signed in to access Warehouse Product Types. No specific role or permission is identified on this page.

## Steps

1. Navigate to **Configurations > Warehouse Settings > Warehouse Product Types**.

2. Review the existing Warehouse Product Types records to avoid creating a duplicate classification. The page lists configured product types, including types used for storable products and pump-related products.

3. To begin creating an additional Warehouse Product Type, select **New**.

> **Tip:** Review the existing records before selecting **New** so that each Warehouse Product Type remains distinct and consistently named.

> **Note:** This page is a warehouse configuration page. It does not move purchasing jobs through Offer, Order, or Delivered statuses.

## Troubleshooting

- Warehouse Product Types cannot be opened → The user is not signed in → Sign in to the application, then navigate to **Configurations > Warehouse Settings > Warehouse Product Types**.
- A required product type is not listed → The type has not yet been added → Select **New** to begin adding the required Warehouse Product Type.

## Result

The Warehouse Product Types configuration list is available, and you can begin adding a new product type by selecting **New**.
