# Stock

## Overview

Use the Stock list to review warehouse inventory records, including product description, quantity, available quantity, unit, storage area, inspection number, and GRN reference. Warehouse managers and purchasing officers can use this list when checking stock availability or reviewing received goods.

## Before you start

Ensure that you have access to the **Warehouse** workspace.

## Steps

1. Select **Warehouse** in the main navigation.

2. Select **Stock (By Product)** to open the stock list by product.

3. Review the stock information for each listed product:
   - **Product Description** identifies the stocked product.
   - **Qty** shows the recorded quantity.
   - **Qty (available)** shows the quantity available for use.
   - **Unit** shows the unit of measure.
   - **Area** shows the warehouse area.
   - **Inspection no.** shows the inspection reference.
   - **GRN** shows the goods receipt reference.

4. When you need to review stock using shipment-based grouping, select **Stock (By Shipment)**.

## Tips & cautions

> **Tip:** Review **Qty** and **Qty (available)** separately when checking whether stock can be used for a requirement.

> **Note:** Use **Area** and **Inspection no.** to distinguish stock records held in different warehouse areas or associated with different inspections.

## Result

You have reviewed the available warehouse stock records and their product, quantity, area, inspection, and goods receipt details.
