## Overview

Use the **Serial Combinations** page to work with serial combination records in the Configuration area. The page displays serial component, digits, and default value information for the available records. Use this page when you need to select a serial component and save the selection.

## Before you start

You must have access to **Configurations** and the **Serial Combinations** page.

## Steps

1. Navigate to **Configurations > Serial Combinations**.

2. Review the serial combination records displayed on the page. Use the serial component, digits, and default value information to identify the record you need to work with.

3. Select **Select A Component**.

4. Select **Select** to complete the component selection.

5. Select **Save**.

## Tips & cautions

> **Note:** Complete the component selection by selecting **Select** before selecting **Save**.

> **Tip:** Review the digits and default value information before selecting the serial component.

## Result

The selected serial component is saved in the Serial Combinations page.
