## Overview

Use the Teams form to maintain a team’s core details, including its Department, Team Name, Team Leader, and team members. Sales managers and other authorized users use this form when creating or updating the teams that support business operations. Use the Teams list to locate an existing team, then open its record to review or update the team information.

## Before you start

- Sign in to the application.
- Access the **Security** section and the **Teams** page.
- Ensure that you have the required team information before saving: **Department, Team Name**, and **Team Leader** are required.

> **Note:** The form validates required information when you save. A team record cannot be saved while a required field is missing.

7. Select **Save and Close** when you want to save the record and return from the form.

> **Tip:** Use **All Teams** to return to the complete team list after working with an individual team record.

> **Warning:** Do not select **Save** until **Department, Team Name**, and **Team Leader** have been completed. The application refuses to save the record if required information is missing.

## Troubleshooting

| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| The team record does not save. | One or more required fields are missing. | Complete **Department, Team Name**, and **Team Leader**, then select **Save** again. |
| You cannot find the team that you need to update. | The Teams list contains multiple team records. | Enter relevant text in the **Search box** to narrow the list, then select the required record. |
| You need to return to the full list of teams. | You are working in an individual team record. | Select **All Teams**. |

## Result

The team record is saved with its required team details and is available from the Teams list.
