## Overview

Use My Profile to review and maintain your personal user information, including your name, position, contact details, login email, cloud account, and mobile number. You can also review the trusted devices associated with your login. Update your profile when your contact or employment details change, or when you need to verify the devices that have accessed your account.

> **Note:** Keep your **Login Email** and **Mobile** details current so that your user record reflects your current business contact information.

## Workflow

1. Open **Security** > **My Profile** to display your security record.

2. Review the profile information and decide whether changes are required. Update the relevant fields, such as **User Name**, **Position**, **Title**, **First Name**, **Middle Name**, **Last Name**, **Display Name**, **Login Email**, **Cloud Account**, or **Mobile**.

3. Decide how to handle your changes:
   - To keep the changes and remain on the record, select **Save**.
   - To keep the changes and return from the record, select **Save and Close**.
   - To abandon unsaved changes, select **Cancel**.

4. Review the trusted-login-device information shown with your profile. Each device entry identifies the device name and includes its first login date and time. Use this information to recognise the desktops and browsers associated with your account.

   > **Tip:** Review trusted devices periodically, especially after changing computers, browsers, or work locations.

5. If you need to add a file to your profile record, use **Attach** or drop the file in the **or Drop a file here** area. Select **Ok** when prompted to confirm the action.

6. Use **Delete** only when the profile record must be removed.

   > **Warning:** Deleting a profile record is a permanent record-management action. Use **Cancel** instead when you only want to discard edits that have not yet been saved.

## Examples

A sales representative, Maria Hassan, changes her mobile number and job title.

1. Maria opens **Security** > **My Profile**.
2. She updates **Title** to `Senior Sales Representative` and enters her new number in **Mobile**.
3. She checks that **Display Name** remains `Maria Hassan` and that **Login Email** is correct.
4. She selects **Save** to retain the updated details while continuing to review her profile.
5. Maria reviews the trusted-device entries and confirms that the listed desktop browsers are familiar.
6. She selects **Save and Close** when she has completed her review.

## Tips

> **Tip:** Use **Display Name** consistently so that colleagues can recognise you in business records and activities.

> **Note:** **User Name** and **Login Email** are separate fields. Review both whenever your business identity or email address changes.

> **Warning:** Do not select **Delete** merely to remove an incorrect entry while editing. Use **Cancel** before saving, or correct the field and select **Save**.

## Troubleshooting

| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Your updated details are not visible after leaving the record. | The changes were not saved. | Reopen My Profile, make the changes again, and select **Save** or **Save and Close**. |
| You do not want to keep the details you entered. | The changes are still unsaved. | Select **Cancel** to abandon the current edits. |
| A device entry is unfamiliar. | The trusted-device list includes a desktop or browser that you do not recognise. | Review the device name and first-login information in your profile record before taking further action. |
