# Configure LGs Facilities

## Overview

LGs Facilities provides the finance configuration view for Letter of Guarantee (LG) facility information by bank. Finance administrators use this page to review the LG facility value and the configured percentages for bid bonds, down payments, and performance guarantees.

Use this configuration when maintaining the financial parameters associated with banks that provide LG facilities.

## Before you start

You must be signed in to access LGs Facilities.

## Steps

1. Sign in to the application.

2. On the navigation bar, select **Finance**, and then select **L/Gs facilities**.

3. Review the configured LG facility records. Each record displays the following configuration information:

   | Configuration information | Description |
   |---|---|
   | **Bank short name** | Identifies the bank associated with the LG facility record. |
   | **LG facility** | Displays the LG facility value for the bank. |
   | **Bid bond (%)** | Displays the configured bid bond percentage. |
   | **Down payment (%)** | Displays the configured down payment percentage. |
   | **Performance** | Displays the configured performance percentage. |

4. Verify that each bank record has the required LG facility and percentage information before it is used for finance processing.

## Tips & cautions

> **Note:** LGs Facilities is available only to signed-in users.

> **Warning:** The LG facility configuration form applies required-field validation. Complete all required inputs when maintaining facility information.

> **Warning:** One validated input accepts only underscores (`_`), hyphens (`-`), and periods (`.`). Remove other characters if the character-validation message is displayed.

## Troubleshooting

| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| LGs Facilities is not available. | The user is not signed in. | Sign in, then select **Finance** and **L/Gs facilities**. |
| A required-field message is displayed when maintaining facility information. | A required input has not been completed. | Complete the required inputs in the LG facility configuration form. |
| A character-validation message is displayed. | An input contains characters other than underscores, hyphens, or periods. | Replace unsupported characters with `_`, `-`, or `.` as appropriate. |

## Result

The LGs Facilities configuration is displayed with bank-specific LG facility values and guarantee percentages.
