# Product Stage

## Overview

Use the Product Stage page in the Warehouse area to review Product Stage records and begin a new record when required. This page is intended for warehouse users who maintain Warehouse configuration data. Use it when you need to check whether Product Stage records exist or start entering a new Product Stage record.

## Before you start

Sign in to the application before accessing the Product Stage page.

## Steps

1. On the application navigation bar, select **Warehouse** and open the Product Stage page.

2. Review the Product Stage record list. Use the displayed count to determine whether records are currently available.

3. To begin a new Product Stage record, select **New**.

4. Complete the required entries displayed on the new-record form. Follow any format validation displayed for the field that accepts only underscores (`_`), hyphens (`-`), and periods (`.`).

## Tips & cautions

> **Note:** The Product Stage form enforces required-field validation. Complete every entry identified as required before continuing.

> **Warning:** One field accepts only underscores (`_`), hyphens (`-`), and periods (`.`). Use only the permitted characters when validation is displayed.

## Troubleshooting

- You cannot access the Product Stage page → You may not be signed in → Sign in to the application and return to the Warehouse area.
- A required-field validation message is displayed → One or more required entries are incomplete → Complete the fields identified as required.
- A character-format validation message is displayed → An unsupported character was entered → Use only underscores (`_`), hyphens (`-`), and periods (`.`) in the validated field.
- No Product Stage records are displayed → The record count is zero → Select **New** to begin a Product Stage record.

## Result

You have opened the Product Stage page and can review existing records or begin a new Product Stage record.
