# Configure Dashboard Settings

## Overview

Use Dashboard Settings to maintain dashboard configurations by role. Administrators use this area to locate an existing dashboard configuration, open it for editing, and manage its Configuration Dashboard, Widget, and Tab settings.

Use this configuration when dashboard content must be tailored for a role, including the tabs and widgets associated with that dashboard configuration.

## Before you start

Sign in to the application before accessing Dashboard Settings. Ensure that your account has access to the **Configurations** area and permission to select and edit dashboard setting records.

## Steps

1. Open **Configurations > Dashboard Settings**.

2. Review the available dashboard setting records. The list identifies each configuration by **Role, Tabs, Widgets, Users**, and **Last modified**.

3. To locate a specific configuration, enter search criteria in the **Search box**.

4. Select the required dashboard setting record by using **Select**, and then choose **edit**.

5. In the configuration record, select **Configuration Dashboard** to access the dashboard configuration area.

6. Select **Widget** to work with the widgets included in the dashboard configuration.

7. Select **Tab** to work with the tabs included in the dashboard configuration.

8. Complete the required configuration values where they are presented. The following fields are required:
   - **Value Of All Firm Offers With An Order Chance Of Min.
   - Average Period For Goods Delivery Till Receiving The Commission Payment, This Field Is Required
   - Average Period For Goods Delivery Till Receiving The Clients Payment, This Field Is Required

> Tip:** Use the **Role** column to identify the dashboard configuration intended for the relevant business role before selecting **edit**.

> **Warning:** Required fields must be completed before the configuration record can be finalized.

## Troubleshooting

- The required dashboard setting record is not visible → The list may contain multiple role-based configurations → Use the **Search box** to narrow the displayed records.
- You cannot open a dashboard setting for changes → Your account may not have access to edit configuration records → Verify that you can use **Select** and **edit** in Dashboard Settings.
- A configuration cannot be completed → One or more required values may be blank → Complete **Value Of All Firm Offers With An Order Chance Of Min.** and both required average-period fields.

## Result

The selected role-based dashboard configuration is available for administration through its Configuration Dashboard, Widget, and Tab settings.
