# Configure Branches

## Overview

Use the **Branches** configuration area to maintain branch records within the Company configuration. Administrators perform this task when branch information must be reviewed or updated. The branch form is available from the Company configuration area.

## Before you start

- Sign in to the application before opening the branch form.
- Ensure that you can access the Company configuration area and the **Branches** option.

## Steps

1. Navigate to **Configurations > Company**.

2. Select **Branches** to open the branch configuration area.

3. Open the branch record that you need to configure. Review the information displayed in the branch form.

4. After completing the required branch configuration, select **Save**.

5. Select **Save and Close** when you are ready to finish from the branch form.

## Tips & cautions

> **Note:** The branch form is available for both existing branch records and new branch records.

> **Tip:** Select **Save** before leaving the branch form.

## Troubleshooting

- You cannot open the branch form → You are not signed in → Sign in to the application and then return to **Configurations > Company > Branches**.

- You cannot locate the branch configuration area → You are not in the Company configuration area → Navigate to **Configurations > Company** and select **Branches**.

## Result

The branch configuration task is completed from the **Branches** form.
