## Overview

Base Of Inspection is the Warehouse Settings area used to review and maintain the inspection-related records available in the system. Warehouse and inventory users use it when they need to locate inspection checklists, inspection documents, service types, or transfer reasons, and when they need to attach supporting files or export the displayed information. Use this page before or during Warehouse inspection activities to ensure that the required inspection reference records are available.

## Settings

Open **Warehouse**, then select **Base of inspection** from the available Warehouse controls to access the Base Of Inspection configuration area. The page provides separate tabs for the different types of inspection reference records.

Use the available tabs to work with the appropriate configuration category:

| Area | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Inspection checklist | Holds inspection checklist records. |
| Inspection document | Holds inspection document records. |
| Service types | Holds service type records used for inspection-related reference. |
| Transfer reasons | Holds transfer reason records used for inspection-related reference. |

Use **Search** to locate existing records in the current tab. Where a filter is required, use **Apply filter** to apply the selected criteria, or **Cancel** to close the filter action without applying it.

> **Note:** The selected tab determines which inspection reference records are displayed. Confirm that you are on the correct tab before creating, searching for, or exporting records.

## Workflow

1. Open **Warehouse**, select **Base of inspection**, and review the records displayed on the Base Of Inspection page. Use the tab bar to choose the inspection reference area that you need to manage.

2. Decide whether you need to find an existing record or add a new one.

   - To find an existing record, enter relevant text in **Search** and select **Apply filter**.
   - To begin adding a record in the current tab, select **New**.
   - To abandon a filter or open action without completing it, select **Cancel**.

3. Review the result before continuing. If the displayed records are correct for the selected tab, continue with the required operational action:

   - Select **Export** when you need an exported copy of the records currently shown.
   - Select **Attach** when you need to add a file to the relevant record or action.
   - Review the available **files[]** entries when supporting files have been attached.
   - Select **Tickets** when you need to work with the available ticket action.
   - Select **Ok** to confirm an available action or dialog.

> **Tip:** Apply filters only after selecting the correct tab. A search in Inspection checklist does not identify records held under Inspection document, Service types, or Transfer reasons.

## Inspection checklist

The Inspection checklist tab contains inspection checklist records. Use this tab when you need to review the available checklist entries, search for a checklist record, or start a new checklist entry with **New**. You can use **Export** to export the records currently displayed and **Attach** where supporting files are required. The available screen data does not identify a control that moves records into or out of this tab.

## Inspection document

The Inspection document tab contains inspection document records. Use **Search** and **Apply filter** to narrow the displayed documents, or use **New** when a new document record is required. Supporting material can be handled through **Attach** and reviewed through **files[]** where available. The available controls do not specify a record transition into or out of this tab.

## Service types

The Service types tab contains service type records used as inspection-related reference information. Review the displayed records, use **Search** to locate a service type, and select **New** when a new service type record is needed. You can use **Export** to retain or share the displayed list. No control is provided that identifies how records move into or out of this tab.

## Transfer reasons

The Transfer reasons tab contains transfer reason records. Use this tab when you need to find, review, or add transfer-reason reference records for Warehouse activities. Use **Search** with **Apply filter** to reduce the displayed list, and use **New** to begin a new record. The available screen controls do not define a transition between this tab and another inspection stage.

## Examples

A Warehouse user needs to review whether the required inspection reference material is available before continuing a Warehouse activity.

1. The user opens **Warehouse** and selects **Base of inspection**.

2. The user selects the Inspection checklist tab because the required reference is a checklist rather than an inspection document, service type, or transfer reason.

3. The user enters the available identifying text in **Search** and selects **Apply filter**. The user reviews the returned checklist records.

4. The user determines that a supporting file is needed for the selected work and selects **Attach**. The attached item is then available through **files[]** where shown.

5. The user selects **Ok** to confirm the available action. If the user needs a copy of the displayed checklist records for operational review, the user selects **Export**.

> **Warning:** Do not assume that an attachment applies to every inspection record displayed in the list. Review the current tab and the relevant record context before using **Attach**.

## Tips

> **Tip:** Use **Export** only after applying the required search or filter criteria so that the exported information reflects the records you intend to review.

- Use **Cancel** if you decide not to apply the current filter or action.
- Use the Inspection document tab for document records and the Inspection checklist tab for checklist records; these are separate reference areas.
- Check **files[]** after using **Attach** to confirm that supporting files are available in the current context.
- Use **New** only after selecting the tab that matches the type of record you need to maintain.

## Troubleshooting

| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| The expected record is not displayed. | The wrong tab may be selected, or the search criteria may be too restrictive. | Select the appropriate tab, review **Search**, and select **Apply filter** again. |
| The displayed export does not contain the expected records. | The list may have been exported before the correct tab or filter was selected. | Return to the required tab, apply the appropriate filter, verify the displayed records, and select **Export** again. |
| A supporting file is not visible. | The file may not have been attached in the current record context. | Select the relevant tab and record context, use **Attach** if required, then review **files[]**. |
| An action should not be completed. | A filter or dialog may still be open. | Select **Cancel** to leave the current action without completing it. |
