## Overview

Use the **Activities** area to open an Activities record form and record activity information for day-to-day business work. Activities can be used by personnel who manage sales, projects, purchasing, warehouse operations, or finance-related work. Complete the required information and save the record when the activity details are ready.

## Before you start

You must have access to **Activities** and the authority to save activity records.

## Steps

1. On the application navigation bar, select **Activities**.

2. Complete the activity information shown on the Activities record form. The form contains one mandatory field; complete the required field before saving.

3. Select **Save** to save the activity record and continue working in the form.

4. Alternatively, select **Save and Close** to save the activity record and close the form.

> **Note:** If you attempt to leave the form with unsaved changes, the application displays a warning first.

> **Warning:** Complete the mandatory field before saving the activity record.

## Troubleshooting

- The activity record cannot be saved → A mandatory field has not been completed → Complete the required field shown on the form, then select **Save**.
- A warning appears when leaving the form → The form contains unsaved changes → Select **Save** or **Save and Close** before leaving the form.
- The **Activities** option is unavailable → You do not have access to the Activities area → Obtain the required access before attempting to create or update an activity record.

## Result

The activity record is saved, either with the form remaining open or with the form closed.
