## Plans

Plans are the subscription options you review in the configuration area. Open a plan from the
list when you need to inspect its details.

## Before you start

The Plans page loads the list when you open it. Use the column values to recognise the plan you
need before opening it.

| Check | What to look for |
|---|---|
| Plan | The plan name in the **Plan** column |
| Price | The amount in the **Price** column |
| Dates | The values in `Created at` and `Modified at` |
| Availability | The value in the **Active** column |

## Understand the plan list

The Plans page is a grid for reviewing subscription plans. The page starts with the `All plans`
and `Plans` breadcrumbs, followed by these columns:

| Column | Use it to… |
|---|---|
| **Plan** | Identify the plan. |
| **Price** | Compare the plan price. |
| `Created at` | See when the plan was created. |
| `Modified at` | See when the plan was last modified. |
| **Active** | Check whether the plan is active. |

When no plan rows are available, the page shows `No data` and `Count: 0`.

## Filter the plan list

The **Filter row** and **Header filter** narrow the plan rows by the values in their columns.

**Prerequisites**

- The Plans list is open.
- The column you want to use is visible.

**Steps**

1. In the **Filter row**, enter the value you want to use for the selected column.
2. Press `Enter` to apply the filter.
3. If you need a column-specific filter, select the **Header filter** for that column.

**Result:** The grid applies the selected filter to the plan list.

## Find and open a plan

A plan record is the detailed page for a subscription option identified by its name, price, dates,
and active state.

**Prerequisites**

- The Plans list is open.
- The plan appears in the list.

**Steps**

1. Use one of these alternatives:

   | If you are selecting… | Do this |
   |---|---|
   | A plan row | Select a cell in the row other than the edit cell. |
   | The edit link | Select the **Edit-cell link** in the row. |

**Result:** The selected plan opens at `/configuration/plans/<Id>`.

## When the list cannot load

The list-load error is the message shown when the request for plans fails.

| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| `An error occurred while processing your request` | The request for the plan list failed. |

## Continue to plan details

After the selected plan opens, continue with its detailed work.

**Prerequisites**

- The selected plan record is open.

**Steps**

1. On the plan record, continue with [Plan details](doc:configuration-plans-record).

**Result:** The selected plan's detailed record is open.
