# System Settings overview

## System Settings at a glance

System Settings is the shared administrative boundary for configuration after the
feature-specific administration areas. The overview page is headed **General settings** and
currently presents an empty state, a page with no settings form to complete.

## Before you start

You do not need a record, field value, or form submission to use this page.

## Understand the System Settings surface

The page displays an empty-state message:

> `Nothing to configure here yet`

The page presents no configuration controls in these forms:

| Page area | What you do instead |
|---|---|
| Input fields | Choose the separate settings page for the configuration job. |
| Selectors | Choose the separate settings page for the configuration job. |
| Tables or grids | Choose the separate settings page for the configuration job. |
| Named actions or buttons | Choose the separate settings page for the configuration job. |

The empty state also states that profile, notification, and theme preferences are under
development and will land here. Use the settings-page table in the next section to choose the
area for your task.

## Choose the next settings page

Use the separate settings page that matches the work you need to do. The overview directs
organization, billing, AI, and audience settings to their own pages under Settings:

| If you need to… | Go to |
|---|---|
| Manage organization-level administration | [Organization overview](doc:organization-overview) |
| Configure branding | [Configure Branding](doc:configure-branding) |
| Configure integrations | [Configure Integrations](doc:configure-integrations) |
| Configure billing | [Configure Billing](doc:configure-billing) |
| Configure AI | [AI Configuration overview](doc:ai-configuration-overview) |
| Configure audience settings | Use the audience settings page under Settings. |
| Manage custom domains | [Manage custom domains](doc:manage-custom-domains) |

1. In the table above, select the link labelled **Organization overview**, **Configure Branding**,
**Configure Integrations**, **Configure Billing**, **AI Configuration overview**, or **Manage
custom domains**, according to your administrative task.

**Result:** The page for the selected settings area is identified.

The overview also states:

> `Organization, billing, AI, and audience settings each have their own page under Settings.`
