# Return to Previous Product Flow Views

This page explains how to return from a product-flow view to the screen you were reviewing previously. Using the return control helps you move between product-flow documentation and review work without losing your place in the workflow.

## Overview

Product-flow views help you inspect documentation, source context, and review information for a product. When you open a product-flow view from another Atloria screen, a back-navigation control is available to take you to the previous relevant view.

Use this control when you have finished checking a product flow and want to continue your earlier task, such as reviewing documentation or comparing changes. For example, you may open a flow while working in **Review & Publish** and then return to the review area by selecting **Back to Review**.

The available return destination depends on how you entered the product-flow view. If you opened the flow from a review screen, returning takes you back to that review context. If you are comparing documentation changes, you may also see **← Previous Change**, which moves to the prior change in the review sequence rather than leaving the current workflow.

## Prerequisites

Before returning from a product-flow view, make sure that:

- You have opened a product-flow view from an Atloria product or documentation workflow.
- You have reviewed or saved any information you need from the current view.
- You know whether you want to return to the review area or move through a sequence of changes.
- You have access to the relevant project and version review area, if your flow was opened during documentation review.

## Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Open the product-flow view that you want to leave.

2. Review the current flow, source information, or documentation details before navigating away.

3. Locate the return control near the product-flow navigation area.

4. Click **Back to Review** when you want to return to the documentation review screen that led to the current product-flow view.

5. Wait for the review screen to open.

6. Confirm that the review context is still visible, including the relevant project, version, or documentation item.

7. Click **← Previous Change** instead when you are reviewing a sequence of changes and want to inspect the change immediately before the current one.

8. Select **1 Review Summary** when you want to return to the review summary rather than continue examining individual changes.

9. Select **Product** if you need to return to the broader product area and continue exploring product-related information.

10. Select **Source** when you need to review the source-oriented view associated with the current documentation or flow.

## Tips and Best Practices

- Use **Back to Review** after examining a flow that was opened during review. This keeps your work focused on the same review process instead of requiring you to locate the item again manually.

- Use **← Previous Change** only when you want to move through the change history one item at a time. It is intended for reviewing the prior change, not for returning to a different workspace.

- Check the destination after you return. The screen you reach reflects the context from which you opened the product-flow view, such as a review summary or an individual change.

- If you need a high-level view of the review process, choose **1 Review Summary** rather than repeatedly moving backward through individual changes.

- Use **Source** when the question you are investigating concerns implementation context, and use **Product** when you need to return to the product-oriented documentation view.

- Before leaving a flow, make a note of any details you need to compare later. Returning to review changes the screen context from the flow view to the review workflow.

## Troubleshooting

### You do not see **Back to Review**

The return action may only be available when you opened the product-flow view from a review workflow. Select **Product** or **Source** to continue in the available context, or return to the appropriate review area and reopen the flow from there.

### **← Previous Change** does not take you back to the review summary

**← Previous Change** moves to the preceding change in a change sequence. To return to the overall review status, select **1 Review Summary** instead.

### You returned to a different screen than expected

The return destination depends on the screen from which you entered the product-flow view. Review the available actions—such as **Back to Review**, **Product**, and **Source**—and select the one that matches the area you need to continue working in.
